With the new university hospital, the future specialist healthcare services for the population of South Rogaland are secured.

Around half past three in the afternoon on January 7, 2020, a fire broke out in one of the cars in parking garage P4 at Stavanger Airport. The flames originated in an older diesel car and quickly spread.

In connection with the Norwegian Directorate for Building Quality (DIBK) releasing guidelines for the new regulations regarding CE marking of fire sliding doors, fire shutters, and fire curtains, we offer our expertise to review these guidelines with fire consultants, procurement professionals, and estimators at construction firms. We are available to inform and contribute to increased knowledge in this area to promote confidence and a better understanding of what to look for when purchasing fire products in compliance with the new regulations.

In November 2019, all national certifications for fire curtains, fire sliding doors, and fire shutters were withdrawn with immediate effect. This included certifications from organizations such as Sintef, Kiwa, Nemko, and also certifications based on standards like BS (British Standard), A/B class, BBR references, etc.
