REQUIREMENTS FOR CE MARKING, FIRE TESTS, AND PERFORMANCE TESTING OF OUR FIRE PRODUCTS

BRIEF SUMMARY ABOUT THE REGULATIONS:
Fire sliding doors, fire shutters, and fire curtains must be CE marked and fire tested according to the standard NS-EN 16034:2014. Performance tests shall be conducted according to NS-EN 13241:2003+A2:2016.

A product certification body (independent third party) determines the product’s performance through type testing, conducts initial inspection of the production facility, and factory production control, followed by continuous supervision, assessment, and evaluation of factory production control.

Only technical assessment bodies designated within the EEA area have the authority to conduct third-party assessments in connection with documentation of the construction product’s properties.

The designation of a technical assessment body is limited to the areas where the body can demonstrate sufficient competence.

The NANDO database specifies the products, technical specifications, and functions covered by a body’s designation. Designated bodies can operate freely across borders within the EEA area. The body must be accredited by a national accreditation body.
